IKO WATERFIX is a complete waterproofing process that creates a high-performance system allowing rainwater to seep efficiently into the roof, respecting the environment, at low cost. It is applied on the concrete support surface and is intended for inaccessible, technically demanding and pedestrian-accessible flat/pitched roofs. Gravel, raised decks on pedestals and green roofs are the three finishes that IKO WATERFIX can accept.
Regardless of the desired finish(es), the IKO WATERFIX system is composed of:
- IKO bitumen waterproofing,
- a protection and drainage layer DELTA MS DRAIN (laid by DÖERKEN, AXTER’s partner for draining solutions),
- an IKO WATERFIX Ultra-Light Honeycomb Structure (ULHS) for water retention,
- unwoven AXTER FILTER layer (optional depending on finish).
