WATERPROOFING OF A SECTION OF THE PROVENCE CANAL

In the south of France, canals play an important role in transporting water to supply local industries and agricultural crops in regions where the weather creates arid conditions.

The Meyreuil canal renovation was completed in May 2021 with 4000 m² of Coletanche XP3 installed by EGC GALOPIN for the Société du Canal de Provence – SCP.

  • Phase 1: February 2020: Installation of 3000 m² of Coletanche XP3 to line 400 linear metres of the canal.
  • Phase 2: March 2021: An additional 3500 m2 of XP3 bituminous geomembrane was installed on 450 linear metres.
