ABOUT THE COMPANY
COLETANCHE® is a bituminous geomembrane manufactured by Axter, a company that designs, manufactures and markets bituminous waterproofing membranes for flat or sloping roofs as well as public works and civil engineering structures. Axter has been innovating around the world for nearly 30 years: it exports more than 50% of its products to more than 70 countries (European Union, Africa, Middle East, Asia, North and South America). The company has offices and teams in several regions of the world.
In 2001, work began to modernise the production facilities at the Courchelettes site: the plant and industrial processes were completely refurbished and production capacity increased to more than 30 million m². As a result, the company completed further expansion work in 2006 and installed a new line to manufacture COLETANCHE geomembranes. These products are specifically designed for civil engineering projects and large-scale works thanks to the unique 5.10 ml wide design.
